• When buying from a door-to-door seller, consumers have 15 calendar days to change their mind.

• We should be given a cancellation form whereby we are shown how a cancellation is made and to whom it is to be made.

• If contract is cancelled any money paid should be refunded.

• Door-to-door sellers must be in possession of a licence issued by the director of consumer affairs.

• Only a 10 per cent deposit can be demanded after 15 days from the signing of the contract.
