They're at it yet again - patching the now famous (infamous?), Marsascala Road, Zabbar!

A drizzle is more than enough to turn this road into a small river. To those lucky enough not to have to pass through it, and who are oblivious to its whereabouts, this road catches all the rainwater falling on Zabbar, eventually leading it to the sea at Marsascala.

It was constructed in such a way that it spreads all the running water evenly across and driving through it in a rainy day is quite an unusual experience to say the least - quite similar to driving a boat, except for the continuous bumps of course.

No amount of patching will do - nor resurfacing for that matter. That will be money down the drain - literally! The whole thing needs reconstructing - no more, no less.
