Despite the introduction of vehicle roadworthiness tests, it's a sorry scene we keep witnessing on Malta's roads. 

Cars and large vehicles continue belching exhaust despite the obvious harm to health and the environment. 

The dashcam footage sent to timesofmalta.com shows a commercial vehicle driven through Fgura's main road yesterday, literally smoking out the view of other cars. 

"My son and I are asthma sufferers and due selfish persons like this we have to rely on medication to breathe," said the frustrated reader.
