Former champion Petter Solberg will be watching out for Colin McRae when the Scot makes his world rally comeback with Skoda in Britain this weekend.

The Norwegian, winner in the Welsh forests for the past three years with Subaru, says he is not fooled by the 1995 champion's assertion that he is merely looking for a good result.

"He says his goal is the top 10. I think that's bullshit," declared Solberg. "He's playing down the expectations. He'll do very well."

McRae, also a world champion with Subaru, will be a big draw for home fans deprived of a top level driver since Englishman Richard Burns, the 2001 champion, was forced out by illness in 2003.

"I'm not really thinking much about a specific result," said the Scot, who has been out of world championship rallying for 18 months since losing his drive with Citroen, after a recent test of the Fabia.

"But I'd like to think that I can still drive a car quickly enough to get well into the top 10."

¤ Tohru Ukawa will race for Honda at this weekend's Japanese GP in place of Australian Troy Bayliss, who has fractured his wrist. Bayliss sustained the injury while riding a motocross bike in Australia and could also miss the Malaysian and Qatar rounds. Ukawa, a Honda test rider, will ride alongside Brazilian Alex Barros for Sito Pons' team, who will be aiming for a fourth successive MotoGP victory at Motegi.
