A construction worker driving like a bat out of hell on the Mrieħel bypass has become the latest local motorist to have their questionable driving caught on camera. 

Video posted to Facebook shows the concrete mixing truck swerve onto the key thoroughfare from a side service road, leaving a trail of debris in his wake. 

Entering the bypass from the side road is itself an illegal motoring manoeuvre, but the driver in question did not leave it at that. 

As the truck accelerates along the bypass, it weaves in and out of traffic with no sign of an indicator, cutting off other motorists without warning. 

According to the video's time stamp, the dangerous driving happened at 2.30pm on April 21 - a Saturday afternoon.

"Here is another exemplary truck driver," the man who uploaded the video to Facebook wrote. 

"Came out of a no exit on to the by-pass with water and concrete dripping out of his mixer. He then went on to swerve between cars with no indicator while lighting a cigarette and smoking."
