A few days ago the rocky beach between the area known as Tal-Għażżenin and Wignacourt Tower in St Paul's Bay was washed, presumably with a kind of chemical.

The rocks turned white and the seaweed on the rocks was also removed. Were any precautions taken to protect the little sea creatures?

Will the chemical used seep through the rocks and end up in the sea?
