Vodafone Malta’s latest initiative allows customers to help save a tree every week by topping up online.

The drive stems from a study by Vodafone which found that a tree could be saved every week if customers had to top-up their mobile credit online. The study calculated the amount of paper used in producing top-up vouchers.

This latest initiative coincides with the launch of Vodafone Malta’s new portal www.vodafone.com.mt which offers several environment-friendly services, including a simple way to top-up.

Customers will be rewarded with free calls to Vodafone Malta when topping up online. Vodafone customers will get free calls for a number of days depending on the amount they top-up their credit online.

Through its new website, created by Alert Communications, Vodafone Malta is providing customers with a better web experience. Feedback from more than 700 customers was used for building the site.

This helped designers create a simple way to view all available phones and plans, an extensive help and support section and a tab which is addressed to business people who will be kept up-to-date with all the latest info provided specifically for them.
