Two Star or Tiger (Papilio thoas) butterflies copulate at the Selva Viva (Living Forest) butterfly exhibition at Puertas del Norte’s mall in the municipality of Bello, department of Antioquia, Colombia, as an initiative aiming to encourage the relationship between visitors and butterflies. Colombia is one of the countries with the greatest diversity of butterfly species, with some 5,000 diurnal and over 20,000 nocturnal.
