The following is the programme of concerts of the Victoria International Arts Festival for the next seven days:

London harpsichordist Oliver John Ruthven will give a recital of works from Nouvelles Suites de Pièces de Clavecin (1726-1727) by Jean Philippe Rameau at Mgr Giuseppe Farrugia Hall, at the back of St George’s Basilica, Victoria, today at 8pm.

Arianna Art Ensemble from Sicily will give a concert of works by Caldara, Vivaldi and Galuppi at St George’s Basilica, tomorrow, Wednesday, at 8pm.

The Roman ensemble CivicAntiqua will perform prestigious unedited vocal works by Caldara, among others, at St George’s Basilica, on Thursday at 8pm.

The prize-winning ensemble Le Jardin Musical from France will perform Alessandro Scarlatti’s Salve Regina and Pergolesi’s famous Stabat Mater, at St George’s Basilica on Friday at 8pm.

The Royal Conservatoire brass band from Scotland will perform a concert on the roof of Il-Ħaġar Heart of Gozo Museum, St George’s Square, Victoria, on Saturday at 8pm.

A vocal recital by soprano Francesca Aquilina and Julia Miller on piano will take place at Mgr G. Farrugia Hall on Monday at 8pm.

Admission to all the concerts is free, sponsored by the Gozo Cultural Support Programme of the Arts Council Malta. The Victoria International Arts Festival runs until July 9. For further information visit https://www.viaf.org.mt .
