Victoria Beckham has been crowned Woman Of The Decade at a glitzy showbiz bash.

The Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer, 39, was given the accolade at an event attended by Kylie Minogue, Jessie J, Miranda Hart, Rita Ora and Daniel Radcliffe.

Nicole Scherzinger, who is returning as an X Factor judge but whose use of the world "effing" on an X Factor results show was criticised by watchdog Ofcom, was named best TV personality at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards.

Hot Right Now and How We Do (Party) singer Rita Ora won best solo artist - and was presented with the gong by the woman she calls "wifey", model-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne.

Statuesque actress Miranda Hart scooped best writer for credits including her self-titled BBC sitcom and drew even more laughter when the 6ft 1in star was presented with the award by pint-sized comic Ronnie Corbett.

Former Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe, who is appearing on the London stage and recently filmed the role of gay Beat poet Allen Ginsberg, was named man of the year.

The Voice judge and Price Tag singer Jessie J won the editor's special award, while Myleene Klass, who has launched everything from a swimwear collection to a baby clothes range on the back of her fame, won an entrepreneur gong.

Clare Balding, who won plaudits for her coverage of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, was named best presenter, receiving the gong from former Dynasty actress Joan Collins.

Victoria Beckham brought along her son Brooklyn as well as her mother as guests.

Unusually, she was not wearing one of her own creations. Dressed in a black jumpsuit-style outfit, she said she was attending the event to celebrate women and that women do not support each other enough.
