A photo competition entitled ‘Vets in your daily life’, which focuses on the veterinary profession, was recently launched by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Health and Consumers in conjunction with the World Organisation for Animal Health.

The message behind this initiative is that modern veterinarians are not only animal doctors and animal welfare advocates but also contribute to everyone’s health.

The photo competition is open to professional and amateur photographers and the closing dateis March 31.
