Premier League leaders Valletta will be without three first-team players for their match against bottom-team Dingli Swallows on Monday following sanctions by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner yesterday.

Skipper Gilbert Agius and striker Terrence Scerri were handed a one-match ban each after picking a fourth booking in the 4-0 win over Ħamrun Spartans.

Cameroon forward Priso Doding was handed a tougher punishment as he was banned for two matches following a straight red card for retaliation in the dying stages of Saturday's match. He is ruled out of the match against the Swallows and the opening Championship Pool fixture later on this month.

Against Valletta, Dingli will be without suspended defender Shaun Tellus who was sent off in his team's 4-0 defeat to Qormi last Friday.

Sliema striker Pedrinho was also handed a one-match ban for the red card incurred in the Wanderers' 3-0 win over Floriana. He will skip his team's match against Hibs on Saturday.

Ħamrun will be without forward Marcelo Pereira for Sunday's match against Tarxien after picking his fourth yellow card against the Citizens while the Rainbows will have Andrew Decesare missing through suspension.

The other player sanctioned one match yesterday was Floriana midfielder Pablo Doffo. He was dismissed against Sliema and will skip the Greens' encounter against Msida on Sunday.
