Valletta will face Andorra's FC Lusitans in the first qualifying round of the Champions League after the draw for the opening two rounds of the 2012/13 UEFA competitions was held this afternoon in Nyon.

The Maltese champions will host Lusitans on July 3/4 with the second leg in Andorra scheduled for July 10/11.

The winner of the Valletta/Lusitans tie will meet Serbian club FK Partizan in the second qualifying round (first leg: July 17/18, second leg: July 24/25).

In the first qualifying round of the Europa League, Hibernians have been drawn against FC Sarajevo, of Bosnia & Herzegovina, Floriana meet Sweden's IF Elfsborg and Birkirkara will face Macedonian team FK Metalurg Skopje.

Hibs and Floriana are away in the first legs, on July 5, while Birkirkara start their Europa League participation at home.

The second legs of the first qualifying round of the Europa League will take place on July 12.
