The Qormi Wine Festival will be uprooted and taken to Great Siege Square, Valletta, for a special November edition, where a full week of events will be organised to attract wine and food lovers.

The festival is a popular activity held in Qormi every September but this extra edition is being organised to coincide with the European Youth Week.

The event is organised by the group Kumitat Festi Esterni San Ġorġ Martri of Qormi and will be held between November 2 and 9, from 5 to 11.30 p.m. every night.

After buying a special edition wine glass for €4, visitors will have a free first sample of wine with refills costing just €2. The wines will be provided by Marsovin.

Several food stands will also be set up alongside the square, selling Maltese food and the traditional dessert, imqaret, while music, art and sports will also be part of the fun.
