The BOV Premier League match between Valletta and Tarxien Rainbows will be played today week and not on Sunday as originally scheduled, the Malta FA announced yesterday.

Sunday's match programme at the Tedesco Stadium has been amended, presumably for security reasons. The duel between rivals Qormi and Ħamrun Spartans will now be the only match on Sunday's card and will kick off at 3 p.m., an hour later than initially planned.

The meeting between Valletta and Tarxien Rainbows today week will start at 6.30 p.m. at the Tedesco Stadium. These alterations also meant that the National League 100 Anniversary Cup match between Valletta and Gozo had to be switched to a later date for a second time.

The third round tie was initially scheduled for November 9 but was postponed on the request of Malta U-21 coach Edwin Camilleri in view of his team's UEFA U-21 qualifier away to Slovenia the following Friday.

The Malta FA last weekend announced that the Valletta-Gozo encounter was to take place on November 25 but this match has now been moved back to Wednesday, December 2 at the Centenary Stadium (kick-off 6.30 p.m.).
