The FOI recently announced that it was to start offering its members the provision of a new information update service on customs policy, which would present FOI members with a summary of the various customs guidelines one can find on the Website of the Malta Customs Department. Thus, this series of customs information sheets would serve as an introduction to a particular topic that can then be explored further by viewing the respective guidelines on the Website.

This new information update was added to the current list of frequent information updates being provided by the FOI to its members who have registered to receive these updates free of charge by e-mail.

Readers are to note that the above information updates are in addition to the frequent circulars issued to FOI members, as well as the monthly notification of new legislation and regulations (Acts, Legal Notices, exemption from levies, national standards, and maximum prices), as well as information on various business opportunities and conferences being held.
