The report Eden Founder Against Merger With Razzett (November 27), filled me with much consternation and unease. Reading about Josie Muscat's wish for Eden to "regain its lost glory" made me wonder just where his priorities lie.

Albert Einstein once said, "The value of a man resides in what he gives and not in what he is capable of receiving."

A shining example of this is Mother Teresa, who gave all she had to make other people's lives a little better.

In fact, one of her best quotes states, "It is not how much we give but how much love we put into giving."

I would like to make it clear that I am not here to judge or criticise anyone, I am only reflecting on what I read. I believe that in a case like this, the focus should be on who will benefit most, in this case the disabled children and adults.

I therefore urge the board members at Eden to put their clients above any other minor motivations. And the sooner the better, for the crucial and necessary gain of those who matter!
