Birkirkara completed another two major signings, as Nigerian midfielder Uchenna Calistus Umeh and Brazilian offensive player Marcelo De Siqueira signed a one-year contract with the Stripes.

Umeh needs no introduction in Maltese football as he has been playing in the BOV Premier League with Valletta for the last three seasons.

The signing of Umeh will see the Nigerian player working again with coach Paul Zammit, after it was the same coach that brought him to Malta.

On the other hand, this will be the first experience in Europe and in the Maltese league for De Siqueira.

Twenty-four years old and described as a technical offensive player, ‘Marcelinho' was last playing with Brazilian side Novoperario FC in the Brazilian Serie D.
