The Malta Tourism Authority’s UK Office has been voted the best European tourist office, winning this year’s Travel Bulletin Star Award.
Voting is conducted exclusively by UK travel agents, and the award is considered the ultimate accolade a travel organisation can hope to receive. More than 12 airports across the UK will be offering flights to the island this coming winter, the MTA’s CEO, Paul Bugeja, said.
The Spanish Tourist Office was voted runner up, with other finalists including the Cyprus Tourism Organisation, the Greek National Tourism Organisation, the Italian State Tourist Board and the Portuguese National Tourist Office.
