The Union Haddiema Maghqudin said this afternoon that it was unfair of Arms Ltd to expect consumers to settle their bills within the specified dates, when it had delayed the issuing of the bills for months.

In a statement, the union said the service provided by the company was mediocre and reflected poor planning and poor management. .

It was the government's duty to ensure that the company was run professionally and that consumers were able to plan their payments.

The union also complained about bills based on estimates and said these were raising further negative reaction by the public. The company, it said, should consider the people's financial situation until the smart meters were introduced.
