The Union Haddiema Maghqudin said this evening it was categorically against the sale of Maltese citizenship.

The union said it believed that on principle, one should not exploit Maltese citizenship for economic growth.

The sale of citizenship should not, in itself, be considered as an economic activity. Not all things that paid off were morally just or could be called economic activity, the union said.
