UEFA has filed a judicial protest against online gaming company Pentasia Malta, calling on it to stop promoting services under the name Pentasia Champions League.

The football federation said it is the international trademark owner of Champions League and the registration of the trademark Pentasia Champions League in Malta violated its rights. It also called on the company to withdraw products and literature bearing the words Champions League.

Dr Melvyn Mifsud signed the protest.
