Two women have been arrested in Valletta in relation with pick-pocketing.

The police said the Bulgarian women were arrested on Tuesday following several days of observation by the Valletta police.

The two women, aged 24 and 43, were caught red-handed stealing from the bag of an elderly person.

Investigations established that, in the past days, the two women were involved in several similar crimes in Valletta.

They are expected to be arraigned in the coming days.
