The Maltese Olympic Committee (MOC) will have two new faces for the next four-year-term following elections held at Tal-Qroqq yesterday.

Two delegates from each association affiliated to the MOC cast their vote to elect the 13-member committee. The newcomers are Mark Cutajar and Adele Muscat. They replace Laurie Pace and Marie Therese Zammit.

The five-man management team will remain unchanged as they were uncontested for their post. These are Lino Farrugia Sacco (president), Julian Pace Bonello (vice-president), Joe Cassar (secretary general), Pippo Psaila (director of sport) and David Azzopardi (director of finance).

Vince Scicluna was appointed director of marketing and sponsorship after Kyrill Micallef Stafrace withdrew his nomination. Charles Camenzuli remains director of media.

Micallef Stafrace still retained his seat in the committee along with Anthony Chircop, Lucienne Attard and Envic Galea.
