A man and a woman from Aruba in the Caribbean are under arrest after capsules containing drugs were found in their stomachs.

The two, aged 41 and 30 respectively and holding Dutch passports, were arrested at the airport on Saturday night. 

The police said they had information that the two might be carrying drugs , and medical tests confirmed the information, with some 800 grams of suspected cocaine being found in capsules.

The two were arraigned in court today and remanded in custody.
