Two foreigners were seriously injured early yesterday morning after they fell in two separate accidents in Luqa and St Paul’s Bay.
A Syrian national fell a height of two storeys while a Czech man plunged four storeys down into a shaft in a construction site, the police said.
The Syrian man was working on a construction site in Triq Ġwanni Mamo in Luqa at around 8 a.m. when he fell into a courtyard, the police said.
In a separate incident, a 21-year-old man from Czech Republic fell into a shaft in a construction site in Xemxija hill in St Paul’s Bay.
Both men were seriously injured but are not critical, the police confirmed.
