Two men were charged yesterday with disobeying and threatening the police on the night of April 28, 2007.

Wayne Falzon, 22, from Birkirkara and Neville Cassar, 28, from Valletta were charged with being in possession of items they could not justify having after having been convicted of robbery. They were also charged with threatening and disobeying the police, driving in a dangerous manner and at speed.

The alleged incidents happened in St Julians, Sliema and Birkirkara.

Mr Cassar was charged with having committed a crime within the operative period of a suspended sentence.

Mr Falzon was also accused of relapsing.

Police Inspector Martin Sammut prosecuted.

Lawyers Josè Herrera and Veronique Dalli appeared for Mr Falzon.
