Vehicles will be using two carriageways on the Coast Road, between Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq and Triq ir-Ramla, as from tomorrow.

Transport Malta said that traffic was currently travelling in both directions on one carriageway. As from tomorrow, vehicles would start using both carriageways between Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq and Triq ir-Ramla.

As per the final design, vehicles on the sea-side-carriageway would travel southbound while the land-side-carriageway would travel northbound.

The speed limit on all carriageways and all the Coast Road would, for the time being, remain at 40 kilometres per hour and no overtaking would be allowed.

The Coast Road remained a construction site and drivers needed to follow the signs and directions and drive with caution.
