Antoine Grima and Anthia Zammit have joined Fenech Farrugia Fiott Legal, the open architecture business law and tax consultancy firm operating from Swatar and Valletta.
Dr Grima worked in public service for over 20 years, holding senior positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Social Policy and in the Consumer and Competition Department.
At the EU Directorate, Dr Grima was actively involved in the EU pre-accession screening process of two major chapters of the EU acquis: consumer protection and the environment. He also played a major role in establishing the European Consumer Centre in Malta.
Dr Grima holds an honours degree in international relations and a masters degree in European studies from the University of Sussex.
Dr Zammit joined the law firm’s corporate and commercial law practice area soon after she graduated last December. Having developed a special interest in pharmaceutical and medical law, she manages the firm’s health care and life sciences industries, advising local and international clients operating within these fields.
In the light of Dr Zammit’s expertise in the health care and life sciences industries, Fenech Farrugia Fiott was recently appointed legal adviser to the health care business section of the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry.
