A man and a woman were today accused in court with having stolen cash and jewellery from residents' in three old people's homes.

Alan Apap, 24 of Fgura and Kristan Urry, 21, pleaded not guilty to thefts from two elderly residents of St Vincent de Paule Home, two residents at Holy Family Home, Naxxar and a resident of from Cospicua Old People's Home. They also denied burglary from an apartment in Senglea and relapsing.

No request for bail was made as they will be entering drug rehabilitation programmes in the coming days.
