The Nationalist Party has filed a complaint over a TVM news report about the building of the new power station.

PN spokesman Clyde Puli said it was shameful that, in the midst of the controversy over the unprecedented government financial guarantee to the private consortium building the power station, PBS on Friday tried to divert public attention by running a feature on the building of the plant.

This included a political comment by Energy Minister Konrad Mizzi but no opposing views, he noted.

The item in question lacked balanced reporting and showed that PBS had become a Labour government puppet controlled by an agenda set at Castille, Mr Puli said.
