Melita has again acquired TV rights to air fixtures from the three top European football leagues: the Barclays Premier League, Italian Serie A and UEFA Champions League matches are available exclusively on Melita Sports.

Melita Sports will broadcast over 350 live Barclays Premier League games, over 150 live Italian Serie A games, all 125 UEFA Champions League games on its eight dedicated Melita Sports channels.

Melita has also invested in more local sports content and will broadcast at least 35 live games from the BoV Premier League, U-Bet FA Trophy, Malta's World Cup qualifiers, BoV Waterpolo Championship, weekly local rugby matches, Malta's international rugby home games, the Rugby League World Cup, and the Rugby Six Nations Tournament, among others.

The programme line-up also includes Formula 1, Bundesliga and Bayern Munich TV, the Spanish Premier Liga, the Coca Cola Championship, the Carling Cup, the Copa Libertadores, Brazil World Cup Qualifiers, NBA, A1 GP, Red Bull Air Race, Red Bull X-Fighters, Golf PGA Tour, Tennis Masters, Handball European Championships, all WWE events and Swedish Horseracing V75 V65, besides magazine programmes.

Subscribers can save €30 when signing up for a 12-month Melita Sports Season Ticket. There is an alternative option of a €19 monthly subscription.
