Throughout September, Ariel gave away energy-saving bulbs with its products in an effort to step up its educational campaign 'Save energy by doing a good turn'. Under this initiative, Malta should save up to seven million kilowatts per hour over six years (the life of the energy-saving bulb).

Translated into energy bill savings, consumers will have saved no less than €653,000 collectively. After having launched a consumer educational campaign in April, Ariel reminded consumers that they can make significant savings on energy consumption and bills, simply by washing laundry at 30°C with remarkable results.

A 30°C cycle uses five times less energy than a 90°C cycle.

With water and electricity charges at an all-time high both in Malta and globally, Ariel wants to generate more awareness on how to save energy by washing clothes using the advances of modern washing machines and Ariel's performance at low temperatures.

Ariel's formula is based on an exclusive combination of ingredients which are effective at low temperatures, thanks to four decades of research and innovation.
