Roma trio Juan, Simone Perrotta and Mirko Vucinic have recovered from their respective injuries and are in contention for tonight's crucial Europa League clash with MFK Kosice.

All three players missed last week's play-off first leg in Slovakia, which saw the hosts battle back from 3-1 down to earn a 3-3 draw and leave Luciano Spalletti's side with all to do today.

"I hope my players now know how to come out on top in the second leg," said Spalletti, whose side lost 3-2 in their Serie A opener at Genoa on Sunday.

Genoa travel to Odense holding a comfortable 3-1 advantage from the home leg. The game in Denmark will hold a special significance for the Rossoblu outfit as it marks their first away Euro game in 17 years.

Lazio travel to Sweden to face Elfsborg with a 3-0 advantage and with Julio Cruz and Tommaso Rocchi set to play up front, allowing Mauro Zarate to rest.

Spanish sides Villarreal and Valencia both look to have one foot in the group stage after establishing healthy advantages in their away legs last week.

Villarreal defeated NAC Breda 3-1 while their local rivals Valencia saw off Tromso 3-0.

Valencia defender Bruno Saltor insisted his side would not be taking it easy against Stabaek despite Los Che starting their Primera Liga campaign this weekend with a tough match against Sevilla.

"We have a lot of respect for the Europa League. We are playing in front of our fans and we are going to give it 100%," said the summer signing.

Spain's third participant in the Europa League, Athletic Bilbao, have a trickier task as they only hold a 3-2 lead heading into their away leg against Tromso - the Basque side scoring twice in the last four minutes.

Of the English sides in action, Everton will be the most relaxed following their 4-0 home win against Sigma Olomouc.

Fulham also hold a first-leg cushion, 3-1 over Amkar Perm, but Aston Villa have it all to do at Villa Park after going down 1-0 to Rapid Vienna in Austria last week.
