The Federation for Hunting and Trapping said that according to the law and regulations governing hunting and trapping, the moratorium on the issuing of new trapping licences, which was imposed in August 2002, expired last December.

The Federation added that it has been informed that, as from last Monday, the police resumed processing new applications for trapping licences.
