Much is being said about the transport reform. I just wish to stress the fact that among all the other excellent suggestions being put forward, one must ensure accessibility for disabled and elderly people at all times.

It is high time we get an efficient bus service that runs regular and frequent low floor buses to all destinations so that disabled people can get to and from their various destinations without unnecessary hardship to themselves, their family or the drivers at all times of the day, including the night time.

We look forward to the day when public transport is accessible for all, but until then, we pray for a better schedule and coordination within the service, which is, alas, most lacking.

I'd like to take the opportunity to thank bus drivers and other ADT personnel who go out of their way to assist disabled individuals as best as they can within the constraints of a pitiful set up.

I encourage more wheelchair users to use public transport in order to make the need for improvement of the service even more strongly felt.

It's a Catch-22 situation. Poor service means people don't use it, therefore, the service remains as is. So sit down and be counted!
