Transport Malta said today that a series of road repair works will be carried out at night or weekends this month in terms of a new ministerial directive.
The works are scheduled as follows:
Parts of Mosta Road, Lija - December 6
The stretch to be relaid is the North-bound carriageway from just after Blockrete to Kinds. Traffic will be allowed to pass during the course of the works. The work is planned to take place between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Part of Attard Road, Zebbug – Saturday 10th December 2011
The stretch to be relaid is in the North-bound carriageway after the Industrial Estate junction. In the direction towards Zebbug, traffic will be allowed to pass during the course of the works. Traffic from from Zebbug to Attard will be diverted through Mdina Road towards Rabat. The work will be carried out between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Part of Triq is-Sebh, Qormi – Monday 12th December 2011
The stretch to be relaid is in the North-bound carriageway, beyond Crosscraft in the direction towards the Mriehel Bypass. Traffic will be allowed to pass during the course of the works. The work is being planned between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Part of Mriehel Bypass, Mriehel – Saturday 17th December 2011
The stretch to be relaid is in the North-bound carriageway after the Attard Industrial Estate junction. Traffic will be allowed to pass during the course of the works between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m.
