Archbishop Street in Valletta will be closed from Monday because of restoration works on the façade of the Grandmaster’s Palace.

Works are expected to take five months.

Traffic from St Paul Street to Archbishop will be diverted onto Merchants Street, St Christopher Street and Republic Street.

Meanwhile, Valletta Road, in Żurrieq – from the roundabout of Mqabba Road to the roundabout of Xarolla Avenue – will be closed between 7am and 10am tomorrow.

Birkirkara St Joseph Sports Club will be holding a cycling event and traffic from the Kirkop tunnels towards Żurrieq will be diverted onto Industry Street, Safi and Kuċċard Street to reach Xarolla Avenue and Blue Grotto Avenue, Żurrieq.
