Two separate car crashes involving five vehicles in total forced the temporary closure of Santa Lucija-bound lanes on Luqa's Triq il-Kunsill tal-Ewropa this evening.

Police said the initial crash involved three cars, with two further vehicles also crashing some time later a short distance from the intial accident site. 

Nobody was hurt in either crash.
