Youngsters, aged 11-16, meet at the Cottonera Sports Complex every Saturday between 9 and 10.30 a.m. to practice traditional karate as part of the Skolasport programme organised by Kunsill Malti għall-iSport (KMS). "Traditional karate is not only a sport. It helps character formation, instils motivation, self-confidence, self-discipline, an attitude of respect for learning, and the mentality to always strive to be better," says coach Peter Pace. For further information contact Tanya Zahra at KMS on 2166 0658/9, e-mail programmes@sportmalta.org.mt or visit www.sportmalta.org.mt.
