Tower Road will reopen to traffic tomorrow, weather permitting, the Resources Ministry said.

Works involving the shifting and laying of services to the roadside have been completed on time, with the finishing touches being applied this weekend. The road was closed from the Strand up to the ex-Joinwell building.

The construction of footpaths will begin tomorrow and is expected to be completed by December 7, by which date the project should be completed entirely.

The project forms part of the embellishment projects planned by the Resources Ministry for Sliema. Similar projects in the area are planned for next year.
