Rescuers had to use a tower ladder to lower an elderly woman who fell from a roof onto another roof at Manwel Dimech Street in Sliema this afternoon. A stretcher could not be carried down the stairs.

The woman was then given on site-treatment and taken to hospital in an ambulance.
