The number of tourists who visited Malta in March increased by more than three per cent when compared to the same month last year, according to official data.

The National Statistics Office said total arrivals and nights spent in collective accommodation establishments grew by 3.4 and 0.2 per cent respectively. The largest share of guest nights was reported in four-star hotels.
