Tourism in January was at a healthy high, according to the figures released this week by the National Statistics Office.Tourist arrivals stood at 51,075, up by 28.3 per cent over the same month last year, which was a record year for tourism.
The number of nights spent by non-residents in hotels and other accommodation establishments rose by 30,160, or nine per cent, to stand at 327,113.
All the hotel categories registered increases in their arrivals.
