Tourism in January was at a healthy high, according to the figures released this week by the Nati­onal Statistics Office.Tourist arrivals stood at 51,075, up by 28.3 per cent over the same month last year, which was a record year for tourism.

The number of nights spent by non-residents in hotels and other accommodation establishments rose by 30,160, or nine per cent, to stand at 327,113.

All the hotel categories registered increases in their arrivals.
