Ten toilet seats and a door and window made of aluminium, have been stolen from recently refurbished public conveniences in St Paul's Bay, the locality's council said.

The refurbishment was completed just a week ago.

The council said that over the summer, the locality also suffered vandalism of traffic signs and planters, usually after weekends.

The council condemned the vandalism and urged the people not to tolerate vandals and vandalism. It urged anyone having information to cooperate with the police.
