The Times of Malta leads with a report on the National Commission for Further and Higher Education's decision to grant the Sadeen Group's education initiative the title 'university'.

The Malta Independent reports that while rapper Wiz Khalifa was not arrested for smoking joints in public, 11 people were arrested for cannabis possession at the Isle of MTV concert.

In-Nazzjon writes that the process to grant the Sadeen Group a university licence happened back-to-front, with the higher education commission having scrutinised their application after the Prime Minister had gotten invovled.
