The Times of Malta reported on the protest in Valletta yesterday, which called for justice for slain blogger Daphne Caruana Galizia, along with an article saying that the Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses had put off the industrial action which was meant to kick in this morning.

In-Nazzjon dedicates its entire front age to the protest, explaining that the crowd had called for the resignations of the Police Commissioner and the Attorney General, a message also carried by The Malta Independent.

L-Orizzont takes a different tack and criticises the protest for having been taken over by partisan elements, with stories focussing on the presence in Malta of an Italian prosecutor looking into the possibility of trafficking crimes, and the main story reporting on attempts to break through a string of electric thefts.
