The message on all front pages of national newspapers today reads 'The pen conquers fear’ as the Maltese media unites in a common act of defiance following the assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia.

Ms Caruana Galizia was killed in a powerful car bomb on Monday just metres away from her Bidnija home. 

Newspapers are joined by TV and electronic news organisations which also feature the message prominently.

Journalists and former colleagues have already sent a strong message of defiance during a march in Valletta last Thursday.
