The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers today.

Tthe Sunday Times of Malta says most newly-employed workers at the Water Services Corporation are from Konrad Mizzi's district.

MaltaToday says talks between the government and a consortium hoping to develop the White Rocks complex have hit a rock - the glitch being over price for this prime site. 

The Malta Independent on Sunday says a snap election in July is not being excluded.

Il-Mument focuses on the PN's proposals to ease traffic problems.

It-Torċa says Marlene Farrugia wants a co-opted seat in Parliament under an alliance deal, should she fail to be elected. 

Illum says there will be 21 hotels in Valletta by the end of the year. It also says the PN has been preparing for a 2017 election since 2014.

KullHadd says Opposition leader Simon Busuttil will seek to heal divisions in the PN by launching attacks on various people in the government in the coming days.
