Times of Malta reports that the Ombudsman has delivered a scathing review of the government's behaviour in matters related to transparency and accountability. The second story says Partit Demokratiku has agreed to contest the upcoming general election under the Nationalist Party banner on ballot papers, but its candidates will distinguish themselves as forming part of the ‘Orange Party’.

In-Nazzjon says Transport Minister Joe Mizzi had demanded €11,000 and not €7,000 from a man who attacked him through a strongly-worded post on Facebook.

L-oriżżont quotes a recent Eurobarometer survey which showed that 94 per cent were satisfied with life in Malta with positive forecasts.

The Malta Independent says a minister and the Ombudsman had crossed swords over a Gozitan patient and employee rights.
